This is it, my last e-newsletter of 2006!
I leave for Canada to celebrate the new year with some great friends on Sunday and I'll spend much of the week there next week.
Remember the other day when I told you about the new diet and exercise program I've started?
I was thinking about it again today.
I really don't like exercising. I'm basically a pretty lazy person.
I know that's hard to believe, but it's true!
In the past, I've hired trainers and signed up for classes and I didn't stick with it.
I'm blessed to have a pretty decent metabolism and never really worried about my weight.
But, this time, it's different because I'm going into it with a different mindset. It's no longer about the way I look. After spending time with Nan, it's about the way I feel today and the way I want to feel into my 80s, 90s and even beyond.
I'm doing it for the right reason and that will make all the difference in the world as to whether I stick with it or not.
Are you in your business for the right reason?
Here are some signs that you might not be:
- You're frequently grumpy and annoyed with people in your office
- You have no or low energy when you are in your office
- You feel put out whenever you have to do something
How do I know this? Because I've been there.
When I was in my business just to make a buck, that's how I felt.
But, I changed my mindset and along with it everything else changed. When I started doing my business with a different focus, I started to feel really happy, energized, and positive and the coolest part was that suddenly the money started pouring in too.
You don't have to be unhappy in your business. You can love what you do and make tons of cash-ola.
Make 2007 the year that you love what you do!
Dedicated to Helping You Love Your Practice,
~ Alexis
PS - Want to know where I'm going in 2007 and how you can come along for the ride? I've laid it all out here on my blog. http://www.familywealthplanningblog.com/2006/12/family_wealth_p.html
You're going to want to get in early. I can assure you that you'll look back years from now and either kick yourself for not getting on board or pat yourself on the back for one of the best decisions you ever made!
