So, I've been dreaming about the perfect database that lets me run my law business from my home as much as possible while still staying in touch with my team and my clients.
Here it is:
* integrated email
* integrated personal calendar and shared calendar
* keeps me organized by easily allowing interface with tasks
* ties in with my website
* allows for very easy website content management
* securely stores client documents
* provides offsite backup
* allows for easy collaboration
* tracks and manages internal office processes
* tracks marketing campaigns
* provides easy reports on leads/conversions
* manages client documents and data
That's all I can think of right at the moment, though I'm sure I'll dream up some more while I'm sleeping.

I agree whole heartedly with the basic premise concerning faith. However, I do think it is important to look at who or what is the object of one's faith. Faith in faith seems to me to be nothing more than wishful thinking.If it is faith in yourself or simply positive thinking you are right back to being responsible for everything. If your faith is in chance or randomness, is there any consolation from that? If your faith is in some unknown force how can you take comfort in an unknown force? Maybe it desires your good, maybe your bad, etc.
God has revealed Himself in nature, His creation; in the scriptures, both old and new testaments; and in His son, Jesus. At Christmas, we are celebrating the incredible truth that God loves us so much that He was born as a baby, fully God and fully man (something beyond our comprehension) to endure all that we do, to live a sinless life, to voluntarily die on the cross to pay the penalty of our sin, and to be resurrected to prove to us His authenticity and power over sin and death.
I am from a Jewish background. I came to understand that being a sinner means to miss the mark of God's perfection. No one who is honest with themselves can say they have never transgressed the law laid down by God in thought or deed. I came to realize that Jesus is who He says He is and that I could be reconciled to God by simply accepting my need for God's provision for my sin, the Messiah.
I suspect some readers are rolling their eyes right now and that is OK. I take no offense and I mean no offense. I am sharing my personal experience, supported by what I read in both the old and new testaments, to say that there is a God. He loves each of us more than we can comprehend. He wants what is best for each of us. That starts with a relationship with Him. Our sinfulness has broken that relationship.Through Jesus that relationship is repaired. This is who I place my faith in and why.
By the way, Jesus is Jewish. Jesus is His name in Greek but His given name (translated to English) is Joshua. His Greek title is the Christ but His Hebrew title (translated to English) is the Messiah, the annointed one promised many places in the old testament.
I respect every person's right to believe or not believe as they choose. Many readers may think I am wrong and I respect their position. I once thought those who believe as I now do were wrong. I have the utmost respect for individuals of many faiths and for individuals of no faith.There is a special place in my heart for people of the Jewish faith and God has choosen them to be His special people, preserving them dispite the attempts to destroy them by atrosities against them throughout history,including many,shamefully, in the name of Christ.
I simply would be remiss if I did not share with you the truth I have experienced. You have the right to do with it as you want. I have two sincere questions for each of us. In whom do I place my faith? What is the basis for my faith?
I pray God's most wonderous blessings on each of you who may read this. Regardless of the holiday you are celebrating, if any, may this season be a warm, meaningful, and joyous time for you.
