The bank event was a huge success.
Here are all the numbers.
The bank manager mailed a letter from me with a cover letter from her (called a lift note) to 1,300 families.
The mailing was done twice - a week apart. The bank manager cannabalized the lift note I wrote for the 2nd day, so essentially the prospects got the same mailing 2x.
Had she sent what I wrote, the turn-out would have been even better, but it's probably good she didn't as the space was extremely cramped with the numbers we did get.
The event was a two-day event.
The first day was for people who had never done any estate planning at all and the second day was for people who had done estate planning before.
We had 17 register on day one and approximately 30 register on day two.
Now remember this is from a list of only 1,300. That's a 3% response from the mailing, which is phenomenal.
The bank called all of the people who registered both the day before and the day of the events.
We ended up with about 6-7 buying units on day one and 10-12 buying units on day two.
Now, here's the catch. I was not making appointments for myself. I'm now only taking new clients from our Inner Circle members and a select few Professional Planning Partners.
I was making appointments for Carla, Gina and Amy - 3 of the Personal Family Lawyers in our office.
They had a total of 12 appointment times available that we wanted to fill. And, we filled them all.
